I’m back again! This time with a very experimental song with a focus on sound design. Trying new things can be so rewarding! It was fun to make from start to finish, even if there was a lot of issues I had to resolve. But in the end, we got this!

We’ve reached that crazy milestone, 100 AUDIO SUBMISSIONS!!

This is quite the achievement for me, even if not all of them are up to par. Okay, most of them are not up to par. Fine, most of them are just bad, chill out!

But all of it counts toward this, and all of it gave me valuable experience and advice from other musicians that made me better. Your reviews have helped a lot.

Keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll keep doing my thing! Hope you all enjoy my future projects!

5. Samples are also allowed, so long as they don’t contain any cuss words (for clarity, just saying the beginning of one and then cutting it off still counts.) Your submission will still be accepted, just, please don’t.

CRITERIA:

Creativity - 40 points

As I’ve said before, creativity is key! I want you to truly express yourself, show me something new. Don’t be afraid to change the genre, or add in a third drop! Just make sure it is still recognizable as a remix, and not a completely different song.

Technical - 25 points

Balance, EQ, mixing, mastering, you name it

Atmosphere - 10 points

Instrumentation - 10 points

Sound design falls somewhere between here and the technical category.

Overall - 15 points

My advice? Take your time! You have over a month to create this, and I know from experience that the longer you work on it, the better chance you have of it being a masterpiece. I know you guys will do amazing, good luck!

Today I had the idea to host a remix contest of my latest track, Walk Away. Wondering if anybody would be interested? I have a scoring system already in mind. After 2 years of making music, I’ve finally hit this first milestone of 100 fans! I am so pumped about getting to this point, and just want to thank all of you for the support. Thank you for every single review, fave, and follow, because all of it is the reason I do this.

Also, thanks for 6 FRONTAGES in just over half a year!! (not even including collab albums) This is absolutely crazy to think about in hindsight. I’m glad you all liked my songs.
